Why Manifestations Happen the Moment You Give Up (The Slingshot Effect Explained)

Have you ever wondered whether you’re supposed to imagine your desire morning, noon, and night… —or whether you’re supposed to imagine it once, impress your subconscious, and then drop it like a seed? In today’s video, I break down the critical difference between these two methods, why one leads to long delays, and why the other produces startlingly fast results. This isn’t theory. This is tested, measured, and proven by thousands of experiments I’ve run since 2011. What You’ll Learn - Why continuous imagining keeps your desire unfulfilled - What Neville Goddard actually meant by “live in the

Are you supposed to be imagining morning, noon, and night, imagining the thing that you wish to manifest as if you've already experienced it? Or are you supposed to drop it as if you're planting a seed into fertile ground? There are different perspectives that people teach as to what is required to manifest your desire, and there are critical differences between the effectiveness of these methods and ideologies. Some of them stem from sort of this mainstream physics, which is that your mind is emitting an electromagnetic frequency, and in some way, the frequency of that matches with the item that you are attempting to manifest. And therefore, perpetually remaining in that state is an absolute requirement to receiving that thing. But there's another way and a far more accurate way to manifest, and that is through the quantum physics way. Now my name is Joseph Ally. Welcome to my channel. And today, we're gonna talk about the the dropping the desire, the letting it go, the imagining, and then allowing it to happen. This is critical. And very recently, there are couple of incidents that happened, one with a client in Discord and the Discord groups and the q and a and the, Sunday workshops, and then another with my personal coaching client, and both had amazing results. And then I wanna tell you an amazing story that sends this all home. I wanna talk to you about what it's like to continuously imagine, what it's like to imagine and drop it, and where these ideologies come from, and what you need to do to manifest your desire ultimately, point blank, with confidence. So before we begin, please do, hit the like button. It does something to the algorithm so that those who wouldn't normally be able to see this video will be able to see it. Also, check and make sure you're subscribed. If you're watching this, the odds are that you are, but recently, we've been getting information that people have been subscribed, and then they are randomly unsubscribed. So go ahead and check now. We're almost at a 100,000, so you're probably one of those who are already, but let's just make sure. And if you're interested in systematic manifesting through data driven testing, and following along with me through the past, I mean, since 2011 on my manifestation journey, if you wanna know through putting it to the test what the results are, just hit the subscribe and let's get into this. So I wanna talk to you briefly about this morning, noon, and night thing. Now this is a very popular teaching by Neville Goddard, And then also many people based upon some of the mainstream mainstream stuff like law of attraction and some of these ideologies, the concept really is sort of this mainstream physics, which is that we literally are somehow within our brain. We are emitting some sort of electromagnetic wave outward, and that is matching the vibration through your emotion. It's matching the vibration of the thing that you wish to experience. And if you maintain that energy, if you maintain that thing, then you will manifest that thing eventually, but do not waver. Otherwise, you will get nothing. Now from the beginning, I have studied meticulously, obsessively, beginning with the bible, then leaving that behind, going into law of attraction, then finding my way back around through Joseph Murphy and then Neville Goddard. But through that process, I meticulously and obsessively tested every single thing that was taught to me because I was in a very desperate situation. And one of the most powerful examples of dropping the desire or dropping the imaginal act after impressing your subconscious mind with it came to me through a hard lesson. You see, I was and this was probably nine years ago. I was desperately attempting to manifest this specific person back. And we had dated before, but it had ended in a very terrible way. I ended up getting into a fist fight with one of her ex partners. It was really kind of messy as some of you may have seen in your own lives or through people that you know. So after that was said and done, the relationship, I knew about manifesting. I had been practicing somewhat. I did not have a lot of experience, but theoretically, through what I had read, which I normally read more than anything else, there I knew that there were some splits in understanding of how manifesting should work. Some of them say to obsessively continuously imagine, make sure you match your vibration with that thing. Otherwise, you're not gonna get it. And then there were some examples where they talked about, like, biblically, it's more or less about the kingdom of heaven like a seed in the ground, like dropping it, that imaginal act, holding it into the mind, and then allowing it to to be free, and then that will make it happen. So I can tell you I was desperately afraid to stop imagining. So the former was much easier for me to do initially, and that was just continuously and I had an obsessive mind, so it was quite easy for me to stay fixated in the perspective of already having my specific person. And I continuously did that, and you'll hear this many different places. But oftentimes, what is not explained is really how these things are unfolding through what medium or the process through which manifestations unfold. And, unfortunately, a lot of times, until we put it to the test ourselves, we do not get that evidence. So after continuously remaining in the end, being with that person now at the time, it was not marriage. I did not know to go after the end, but it was being in a relationship with that person. I would get some movement, but then nothing would happen. So this carried on, though. I continuously, forcefully, perpetually remained in the end, in the state until I could know more. And one day, I woke up extremely exhausted and desperate because I had not received the ending that I wished at that point. And so I made my mind up just then to just give up. And at that moment, I I completely abandoned it. Now this wasn't this is not something that you can fake. Right? You perhaps wish that you could drop it at some point, but when you're in love, you're in love, or when you think you're in love, you think you're in love. And but at that moment, I realized that my mental health was desperately suffering, and I just gave up. I said, screw this. I'm done with this. And at that moment, my phone started to ring. Now keep in mind, I was completely finished. It had been months of this stressful, anxious feeling like I must remain in this in this state and nothing had happened. And so by the time I had given up, I was just I was completely done. There was nothing that would get me back to it. But the phone started ringing, and it was her. And she said that she wanted me back. And I told her at first that I would think about it. And when I hung up the phone, I started thinking about the last couple months, and then I started thinking about the relationship. And I knew that the desperate position I was in was not healthy for me. I made up my mind. It took too long, and she became obsessed at getting me back, trying to get me back. Now the magical thing was it was the split second, the moment that I had internally pivoted from desire to dropping it, and that was when she came crawling back. I never did get with that person, but I learned one of the most incredible lessons that I was able to pass on from friend to subscriber to client and watch the changes within them. Recently on the Discord and this is always we do live Discord sessions. We do Tuesday q and a's. We do Sunday workshops. And it is so common where individuals will come and they will say that they've heard this, but you say this. So what do I do? This person says imagine continuously. This person says staying in the same state means continuously feeling as if you already have that thing and pretending that you have a wedding ring on and all of this stuff. But you, Joseph, you say that we should be dropping it. And in many cases, we do find evidence when you reflect back on your life, reflect back on the times where you have had a desire and you have been able to drop it. Now if you've watched my videos before, you might have seen a video where I talk about the slingshot effect, and this is very, very evident here. And the slingshot effect is like pulling back the slingshot. That is the desire. That is the imaginal act. And you pull it back harder and harder and farther and further, and then eventually you let go, and that is when the desire shoots forward. It completes its tasks. The bridge unfolds, and it comes to you. You've seen this yourself at the grocery store when you're looking for things around the house or in the store when you are looking for that one grocery and you're like, especially guys, perhaps. Normally, that's what I've heard is we can't find anything. I can't find anything. But looking around and you're trying to find the bread or you're trying to find this can or you're trying to find this whatever, and you are searching and looking and searching and looking and then finally you're like, whatever, man. And when you stop and you're like, whatever, and you where you pivot, you are facing the thing and you find it exactly there. That's a prime example of the slingshot effect, and this is utilizable. This is something that I've learned to use to practice to get the things that I want. And in this case, in the instance on on Discord, it usually just takes a simple pivot of an individual to realize this is the truth of the reality. You can probably find many things that you've imagined even for a moment or a little bit longer than that. And when you finally stopped imagining it is when the things start to unfold. This is a essentially an unwritten law. Now as you may know, you can probably see some of them right there. Those are my journals with all of my data from all of my experiments with manifesting. And it is almost invariably without question that when an individual imagines a thing to the best of their ability and then drops it, they will get that thing versus someone imagining it and never never dropping it. Their desire never comes. So I wanna tell you an amazing story that really that this is what inspired me to make this video. I was watching this other storytelling YouTuber, and this is a story I had heard before, and this is a true story. Okay? I'm gonna try to keep it sensitive. I don't know how well I'll do on that, but because there are some sensitive topics, but I'm gonna try to maybe pivot away from that or use specific language, whatever. I mean, if I get demonetized on this video, so be it. But it's a true story. So there's a woman. There's a woman that some years ago, maybe a decade ago or so, she had at, like, at the time of the story. Right? So a decade or so ago, this this woman, when she was a young woman, maybe 30 years old or something, she started to get ill. And as she started to get ill, she went to the doctor, and the doctor could find nothing wrong with her. Now it started with exhaustion, and then her joints hurt. And there was, again, no markers and nothing that they could test in the blood that they could think of that they would attribute to any sort of known something or another. So as the time goes on, she thought she felt better, but really she continuously got worse. The exhaustion continued. Her bones and joints hurt. She could barely function. About a decade passed. Now this woman was obsessive in attempting to fix this problem through positive hopes and prayers and going to doctor after doctor, but there was nothing to no avail. And it came to a point where it was ten years later, and she was essentially crippled. She could barely walk without anything. She's only 40 years old at the time. 40, 41. And she ended up doing another battery of tests. But at the time, she was already you know, she had already basically thrown in the towel. She was in complete agony. She was very highly depressed. Her mind wasn't working right, and so she just was essentially going to give up. And in doing that, I mean, literally, she was she saw a doctor, and the doctor said, like, listen. Your organs are failing, and you don't you wanna throw in the towel. Well, if you just allow yourself to by, like, giving up mentally, then you likely actually will. I that's the best way I can put it. I hope you guys are reading between the lines. But so what happens is during that appointment, they run that battery of tests and the doctor says, you know, you have Lyme's disease. That was what has caused all these problems. But, unfortunately, because you're so late stage, there's no reversing this. And that is true. Right? I know people I've had Lyme disease actually, but I was able to treat it really quickly, and I was able to be fine. But I know people personally who had Lyme disease for brief periods of time, and they're permanently damaged to different degree. And so it's very dangerous. It's very horrible, and there's no real rewinding. You know, a simple doxycycline could sort it out. But, you know, if you don't have the proper information to diagnose you, then really what do you do? So, nevertheless, she got some answer that she wanted to that she wanted to know. I mean, she had searched for so long, but at the same time, she there was nothing they could do anyway. So what happened was is she decided to rent an Airbnb. She was in Southern California. She decided to rent an Airbnb, and she can actually pay someone to hang with you up till your last moments because she was just going to essentially, like, at a certain point, if you mentally if you're already so sick, a lot of people, their sheer will keeps them alive. So if you vacate your will by just allowing whatever to happen to happen, the doctor said she was sick enough and her organs were failing enough that she probably would just be able to die. So she rents an Airbnb, and you can pay somebody to be with you and hang with you just until it's over. Like, that's it. They just stay with you and give you company until until that time happens. So she goes and she goes she rents this Airbnb. However, it was still not that far away from her. I think a couple hours drive still in Southern California, and she rent it was like some cabin or something to that effect, and she was just gonna hang out there until that was until the end came. And she was there, and he was there with her. And, again, she's really decrepit, and she ended up just basically not doing anything, not going out, not eating, and just kind of laying around until the time came because she had given up. So a couple days passed, though, and she nothing happened. So she was bored now, laying in bed for multiple days, super decrepit and and and crippled. So she said, well, we're in this town. Let's just go for a walk. So they ended up going into the little town that was close by and going for a walk. And as they go for this walk, right, now, again, he's helping her. She's very crippled. She can barely walk, very sick, very ill, very frail, all of these things. And they are in the town. They're walking around, and suddenly they hear buzzing, and it turns out to be that there are bees overhead. Now this is horrible, but, the the caretaker guy who stays with her runs as fast as he can. He's petrified by bees. Now this woman is screaming for help. She's getting stung, and she realizes that they are African killer bees. Now I don't know about you, but if you live in America years ago, I remember there being news reports about how we now have African bees in America, and they had somehow traveled over through this and that, whatever. So I I remember this. But wherever she went, there were those African killer bees, and she got stung by one and then more and then more. And that's the way that they work is they now there were many of them repeatedly and continuously stinging this lady. And after the whole thing was done, as she's screaming in an agonizing pain and the guy that she's with runs up to her and and is about to call 911. And she's like, no. Take me back. Take me back to the Airbnb. Right? I just wanna lay down and whatever. So he takes her back, and it's just horrible thinking about this. Right? She probably had hundreds and hundreds of bee stings by these African killer bees. They're known to kill people literally. So takes her back instead of calling 911 and bringing her to the hospital, and she's laying in bed again swollen and in pain. And eventually, something starts to shift and she starts to feel a little bit better. And she starts to feel less achy and starts to feel less pain and starts to feel just better. And she day by day, she starts to feel much better, better than she had in years and years and years. And what happened was and this is totally amazing. This is an absolute true story. She goes online because she's in the Airbnb. She goes online and she looks it up and finds a study from the sixties or seventies that is was not allowed to take place because it would be inhumane, but there was some proof that suggests that bee stings could help reverse the effects of Lyme disease. And the reason they could not perform the experiment is because killer bees would be the prime bee, but they would have to be stung many, many times. That's inhumane. So the study was never, never happened. Now what ended up happening was the woman made a drastic recovery. She literally went from being on her deathbed to now touring the world telling people her story. You can look this up. You can fact check me. There's probably some bits that I that I got wrong, but this is a prime example of the slingshot effect. Some will say this is a miracle. It is a miracle. This is what manifesting is. This is purely miraculous. Whether or not the woman knew that what she was doing was manifesting through the slingshot effect and eventually dropping the desire to the point to which she was giving up the ghost effectively, and that triggered the ultimate thing. Keep in mind, she would have. Once she decided what she was gonna do, everything would have went into motion. She would have been led to choose the proper location with the Airbnb and the proper caretaker because if she had only gotten a sting or two, none of this would have happened. That caretaker had to have run away so this poor woman got just totally swarmed and stoned relentlessly by these bees. If none of those things had happened or if any of those things hadn't happened, this would not have been fulfilled. And this is, like I said, the prime example of of how this works, of how manifesting works. You know? So point blank. Point being is this is something I integrate into my manifestations regularly, and this is easily testable if you do as many have. There are many hundreds of thousands of results from my list method exercise, which is a fourteen day exercise that you engage in. If you've never used that before, you should probably do it. Those who have done it before, write down your results below just to give some of the people here who haven't heard of it before, who who are who are, you know, they don't think that it's gonna work. Let them know it does. I've manifested many of these. There are hundreds of thousands of manifestations in these journals, and many of these are attributed to the list method, the list method itself. And the list method very simply is a method to test manifesting en masse. You see, if you want I'm a computer science major, math major, and physics major, and I need data. I need information. I have an obsessive mind. And the more you you learn this as anyone who's interested in science or medicine is any evidence that you that you want to validate, right, or any anything that you wanna prove true, you must have enough evidence in order to give you enough data so that you can have a a a big enough, you know, like, a large enough amount of experiments that you can look and find a common denominator through each of those things. The list method is designed to help you manifest dozens and dozens, hundreds and hundreds of things in a very condensed and short period of time in a very systematic segmented way. And one of the prime things that you will learn through the list method is imagining and then dropping it is crucial. In fact, you will find that through testing, the things that you forget about fastest, the things that you leave the quickest are the ones that manifest the fastest in most cases. But those who that you continuously hold onto take longer and longer and longer. This is for a reason, and it says this in scripture as well. Right? It says through everything actually, made a short on this recently. Through everything with prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus, which is your imagination. What this is saying here is your acceptance of the experience should be accompanied eventually by peace, a knowing that you have done it properly. It says that in scripture, which is the manifestation guidebook. I have never found a better guidebook than that. And furthermore, this is something that not just I have proven, not just something that that woman with the b's has proven. This is something that you can prove easily, quickly, and effortlessly if you did something like the list method. Now I wanna touch on one more quick thing, and this is Neville Goddard and his teaching on live in the end and his teachings on morning, noon, and night. Now what I'll say to you is I is a Neville Goddard practitioner. As you know, that's my that's my guy. And, you know, I studied him relentlessly, read every book and nearly every lecture, and I have over 300 and listened to more lectures than that as well and studied them very carefully cross referencing and such. In fact, my app this is not I was not meaning to advertise this here, but my neville goddard dot com. If you're interested, that's there's a free version that you can get all of the true information from Neville and not just the snippets that you hear in one lecture. And that's the point I was trying to make is most people and I hate to say it, but it's true. On YouTube alone, most of the people quote Neville are passive listeners, and they will listen to one lecture or two or three or five or they'll read a book. And then they will you know, they they really thought that they have a great understanding of the breadth of his teachings. Now I'll tell you this right now is in the beginning or earlier on, Neville uses some language that is not very accurate to this time to where to our time today. And what happens is with with teachings like law of attraction where they say to maintain in these states, suddenly when you hear something like Neville Goddard and he starts talking about live in the end, you then assume, oh, he's saying continuously imagine like those other law of attraction practitioners, but it isn't so. Live in the end means imagine the end. And imagine the end you're supposed to do when you are falling asleep. That's the prime time. It doesn't mean you have to do that. You can pray at any time, and prayer is imagining. But suffice it to say, you are these terminologies that you're hearing perhaps are not meant to be understood the way that modern people are teaching them. And the proof of this is in one of his later q and a's, and I do have a video on this as well if someone wants to share it. I think it says the title is in his own words or in Neville's own words. But in a q and a, Neville is asked if he continuously imagines, and she asks it very vividly. It's in the end of a live lecture. Right? This is before AI, way before it could be faked with AI, and asks, yes, do you stay in this end, or do you imagine it, and then do you stop imagining it? And he's very clear, very clear, no ambiguity. He says, no, dear. No one stays in it. From day after day to day, hour to hour, you switch from state to state to state. Goes on to just explain that, and then he so therefore, like, can't stay in a state. And then the other thing is he says he gives an example, and he says, well, the story I just told you about how I received my money, that $7,000 back from such and so forth, I imagined it once, never did it again, never thought of it again. My wife asked me to do it, so I did it. And then three days later, four days later, I got the call and the manifestation came. This is provable. And what is also provable is very simply what happens when you don't stop imagining. It will not come. It does not come. You must act like it is a seed. It says all through scripture, it talks about it like seeds and plants. I am the vine. You are the branches. The kingdom of heaven is like a seed that a man casts into the ground. It's specifically saying and what do seeds do? It says this in scripture. They grow into their own likeness. By their fruits, you shall know them. By the manifestation, you shall know the seed. You must drop that seed into the fertile ground and stop hovering over it. Stop looking over it. Allow it to grow. It's like watching paint dry when you're staring at it or watching water boil. When you're staring at it, it never boils. Right? When you are obsessively and continuously staring at or continuously, imagining that end, that end never seems to come. So the key point here is to imagine your end. Define the end. It must be after the end. And it says in scripture also is believe you have already received it. In other words, it's not saying imagine that you're continuously receiving it. Right? You have already received it. And what would it be happening if you already received it? There would be an imaginal act where you have some correlation between you and that desire fulfilled, and then you move on. It says, enter into the closet and shut the door and pray to your father in secret. And the father that heard you in secret or hears you in secret shall reward you openly. You can't be doing that morning, noon, night. Right? You you have to imagine the end and fall asleep as it says in that verse and it says in the Song of Solomon to take the imaginal the desire into sleep with you. So the point is this is not something that can be done morning, noon, and night nor is it something that should be. And just because it sounds similar to some of these mainstream teachings isn't that it's true. So point being, imagine your end and then let it go. Do it to the best of your ability. And if you want to imagine it over and over until you fall asleep, that is very that is the slingshot effect. And if you wanna be careful with it and ensure you've done it properly, just imagine it until you get it down pat. Choose a short and concise imaginal scene. Define a moment, a moment after the desire has been fulfilled, not the moment of it being fulfilled, After. Not before, during, and after. Not during and after. After. Choose a scene that can be looped, repeated over and over, short and concise. Eliminate extraneous details that don't matter. Imagine that over and over and over during a sitting or as many sittings as it takes to get it to be complete without glitches. And then once you do that, the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind. That just means you should be hit with the knowing that you've done it right. And if you've done it right, the manifestation will come. So thanks for watching. Subscribe. Please subscribe. We're almost at a 100 k. We're at 99.5.
