Delete your Alai AI account and data
You can initiate permanent deletion inside the app or request it from the web. Account deactivation is not used as a substitute for deletion.
Delete inside the app
- Sign in to the account.
- Open You, then Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the consequences and confirm.
The request removes the account identity, goals, conversations, practices, private uploads, public List Method entries, high scores, and community identity/contributions. A linked web Stripe subscription is cancelled. Apple or Google subscriptions must still be cancelled in that store.
Request deletion without the app
Email Request account deletion
Send the request from the email used for the account and write “Alai AI account deletion” in the subject. We may send a verification step before deletion to protect the account. Never email a password, payment-card number, private recording, or identity document unless support specifically provides a secure verification method.
What may remain
Deidentified aggregate counters may remain because they no longer identify an account. Payment processors and stores may retain transaction records under their legal obligations. Limited security, tax, fraud-prevention, or backup records may be retained only where reasonably necessary or legally required, then deleted or deidentified under the applicable retention process.
